What happens when you step into a world of imagination? This October half-term, we’re inviting young artists to find out!
As part of our partnership with Northumberland Libraries for The Big Draw Festival 2026, we’re hosting a special creative workshop at Berwick Library, inspired by Journey, the beautifully illustrated book by Aaron Becker.
Designed for children aged 6–11, the workshop will encourage young imaginations to run wild as they explore magical landscapes, experiment with storytelling and create their own colourful artworks and imaginary worlds.
At The Maltings, we believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. Through projects like The Big Draw, we’re creating opportunities for children to explore their ideas, express themselves and discover the joy of making art together.
We’re delighted to be working with Northumberland Libraries to bring this creative opportunity to local families and celebrate the role that arts and culture can play in inspiring the next generation.
